Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms following procedures and hotel standards, ensuring every surface is properly sanitized
- Keep an organized linen cart that is neat, well stocked, and orderly throughout your shift
- Report any areas within guest rooms that need attention, such as fixtures, door locks, televisions, or HVAC systems
- Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued to you, never leaving items unattended
- Report lost and found articles to your supervisor immediately so guests can be reunited with their belongings
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner, whether for extra towels or assistance with room features
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift or carry supplies or equipment is necessary. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays is a must. Commitment to safety, sanitation, and guest service standards will guide your daily work.
