Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and hardware
- Assemble, disassemble, and refurbish proprietary systems and hardware components both in-house and at client sites, following established guidelines
- Troubleshoot and replace various computer, camera, sensor, and PCB components, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
- Perform installation of electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, and control panels according to engineering drawings
- Conduct engine valve lash adjustments, disassemble and assemble engine components such as oil pumps, water pumps, and cylinder heads, and perform general servicing on engines and alternators
- Prepare generators for load tests, perform safety device tests, and record required parameter readings, using diagnostic tools such as ET tool to view fault codes
- Manage warehouse inventory and hardware logistics, including ordering parts, tracking stock levels, and coordinating with procurement teams
Qualifications
An ITE, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential. You need a minimum of five years of relevant hands-on experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role is an advantage. Electrical hands-on experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment is essential. Familiarity with engine components, generators, control panels, and hydraulic systems is required. Basic knowledge of Linux, ticketing systems, and spreadsheet software is preferred. A clean driving record and a valid passport are required, as the role may involve travel. Filipino citizens with valid work authorization for Singapore are encouraged to apply. You must be physically fit for standing, lifting up to fifteen kilograms, and working in various environments.
