Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitising of production areas, equipment, and facilities after daily operations, following strict food safety protocols
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate industrial cleaning machinery such as high pressure washers, foamers, and floor scrubbers
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and Workplace Health and Safety standards at all times, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Work efficiently as part of a small, supportive team to complete all cleaning tasks to a high standard and on schedule before the next production shift
- Remove waste materials and food residue from production lines, ensuring all bins are emptied and disposed of correctly
- Inspect cleaned areas for any remaining debris or residue, reporting any equipment damage or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all biosecurity and cross contamination prevention procedures, especially when moving between different production zones
Qualifications
You must be physically fit and capable of performing manual and repetitive cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
