Key Responsibilities

  1. Feed and water livestock according to established schedules, ensuring each animal receives the proper ration for its age, weight, and production stage
  2. Clean barns, pens, and milking parlors daily, removing manure and soiled bedding to maintain a hygienic environment and prevent disease
  3. Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or distress, and report any concerns to the farm supervisor or veterinarian promptly
  4. Assist with breeding programs, including heat detection, artificial insemination, and care of pregnant and lactating animals
  5. Operate farm machinery such as tractors and feed mixers for moving hay, grain, and silage to feeding areas
  6. Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, animal health treatments, and production data as directed by the farm supervisor

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You need at least one year of verifiable work experience in livestock farming, general agriculture, or a related field. Physical fitness is essential for lifting feed bags up to 20 kilograms, standing for long hours, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. A willingness to learn Japanese language basics is expected. A valid driver’s licence is an advantage. Filipino citizens aged twenty-two to forty years old with a valid passport are encouraged to apply.
