Key Responsibilities
- Feed and water dairy cows according to established schedules, ensuring each animal receives the proper ration for its age and production stage
- Clean barns, stalls, and milking parlors daily, removing manure and soiled bedding to maintain a hygienic environment for the herd
- Assist with the morning and evening milking operations, including preparing the milking equipment, attaching milking units, and monitoring the process
- Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or distress, and report any concerns to the farm supervisor or veterinarian promptly
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors and feed mixers for moving hay, grain, and silage to feeding areas
- Help with calf rearing, including bottle feeding young calves, cleaning calf pens, and monitoring their growth and health

Qualifications
A high school diploma is required. You need at least one year of verifiable work experience in agriculture, livestock farming, or a related field. Physical fitness is essential for lifting feed bags up to 20 kilograms, standing for long hours, and working outdoors in cold, wet, or hot conditions. A willingness to learn Japanese language basics is expected, though not required at the time of application. A valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
