Key Responsibilities
- Perform general crop farming tasks including land preparation, planting, fertilising, weeding, and harvesting of leafy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, and cabbage
- Wash harvested agricultural products, trim and sort vegetables by size and quality, and prepare them for shipment according to customer specifications
- Pack and label produce for delivery to markets, ensuring each box meets weight and quality standards
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and tools, including tractors, tillers, and harvesters, following all safety procedures
- Monitor crop health daily, identify signs of pests or disease, and assist with the application of fertilisers and crop protection agents as directed
- Follow the farm’s standard operating procedures for food safety, hygiene, and traceability, maintaining accurate records of daily activities

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You need at least three years of verifiable work experience in general crop farming, vegetable production, or a related agricultural field. Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N4 or equivalent is preferred, as is passing the General Crop Farming Prometric exam. You must be physically fit for standing, bending, lifting up to 15 kilograms, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
